Come you masters of war You that build all the guns You that build the death planes You that build all the bombs You that hide behind walls You that hide behind desks I just want you to know I can see through your masks. You that never done nothin' But build to destroy You play with my world Like it's your little toy You put a gun in my hand And you hide from my eyes And you turn and run farther When the fast bullets fly. Like Judas of old You lie and deceive A world war can be won You want me to believe But I see through your eyes And I see through your brain Like I see through the water That runs down my drain. You fasten all the triggers For the others to fire Then you set back and watch When the death count gets higher You hide in your mansion' As young people's blood Flows out of their bodies And is buried in the mud. You've thrown the worst fear That can ever be hurled Fear to bring children Into the world For threatening my baby Unborn and unnamed You ain't worth the blood That runs in your veins. How much do I know To talk out of turn You might say that I'm young You might say I'm unlearned But there's one thing I know Though I'm younger than you That even Jesus would never Forgive what you do. Let me ask you one question Is your money that good Will it buy you forgiveness Do you think that it could I think you will find When your death takes its toll All the money you made Will never buy back your soul. And I hope that you die And your death'll come soon I will follow your casket In the pale afternoon And I'll watch while you're lowered Down to your deathbed And I'll stand over your grave 'Til I'm sure that you're dead.------- Bob Dylan 1963
Ya, that is me enjoying Sundubu at my favorite restaurant in Seosan South Korea. Sundubu is a seafood stew-soup, with vegetables, mushrooms, soft tofu, clams, oysters, baby octopus, shrimp, and crab. All in a spicy red broth. With it come 4 different kim chee side dishes and a bowl of brown rice. All for only $7.00. An effen big mac cost that much and who knows what is in that. The 500 ml (17 ounce) bottle of excellent, ice cold Korean beer cost $4.00. Koreans drink their beer out of a glass. So they look at me very strangely when I drink it out of the bottle. I always get a kick out of that. Lol There is no tax or tipping in Korea, all is inclusive in the price. One can always judge a restaurant by how clean the restrooms are. These are absolutely spotless. Besides they have an open kitchen so you can see what, and how they cook. If you are in Korea during the next 4 months, email me and I'll take you out to lunch. :-)
DD is one of the first things you see when coming out of the main bus station. A small cup of black coffee will cost you $3.00. I buy only local, so I passed. Unfortunately from Lockheed Martin to DD they are all here.
28 September 2013 — The “blood” in the title of this excellent account of Bangladeshi independence refers to Archer Blood, American Consul General in Dacca as the events unfolded in 1971. The telegram (a “cable” back to the U.S. State Department) was one he titled “Selective Genocide” to describe the clampdown by Pakistani forces—armed by the United States as an important Cold War ally—on political unrest. The “blood” of the title is a macabre double-entendre.
This and subsequent cableshad little noticeable effect. Soon after
As long as we are dependent on fossil fuels, this will be the 4 center squares of the chess board. Zbig wrote about it long ago in his book. The American invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq was not about A/Q, or even about oil. If they would have succeeded it would have been their gateway to Eurasia. Iran also butts up to Eurasia, this is why Iran is always a target. Not because of nukes as MSM keeps telling you. That and the NeoZioCons want a regime change in Iran so Israel can do as they please with furthering their Zionist agenda. Now Russia and China will be making their moves. There will not be a stale mate. Tao Dao Man
This is where I go to buy our produce and seafood. Everything one needs is right here. Plenty of fresh seafood imagineable, produce, clothes, hardware goods, furniture, bedding, you name it. And best of all lots of great inexpensive eating places. I love this place. Tao Dao Man
If the War Party wins in 2016, the U.S. will prepare to fight in the Eurasian heartland, the South China Sea, and the resource-rich lands of Africa. If we’re lucky, we’ll avoid any outright conflict. But the price will nevertheless be bankruptcy. (Photo: U.S. Army / Flickr)
