Darkness at High Noon in Korea - FPIF
With governments on both sides of the DMZ extinguishing what little remained of the "sunshine era" of engagement, the peninsula is lurching toward a new period of darkness.
Guess I will be entering the darkness come April.
As I am going back to South Korea for my annual seven month stay.
I hope saner minds prevail, and bring peace instead of war.
Both Koreas should sit at the table and iron this out. All other parties should not be involved. A bonafide peace treaty between the two would have to be called first.
The U.S. should not be involved at all, and should declare a date to withdraw all their troops and bases in the ROK.
China, and Russia should also declare that they will not send troops into the DPRK.
Japan should just stay in Japan.
